| I don't normally do posts like this but T-Mobile deserves this post. I have been a good customer of theirs for over 2 years and due to some life changes chose to cancel my service in order to save money.
They told me what the final bill would be and I thought all was well. I returned to pay my bill to find they had charged me an additional month of service even though I had already ported my number. The guy in the store even told me that the first x amount was my final bill. I was lead to believe that after I paid that x amount everything was good to go
. I was shocked to see an entire additional month of service changed to my account over 12 days AFTER my account had been canceled. I talked to the lady in the store for probably 20 mins and she called up their corporate line an they basically said tough luck deal with it. I was short on time so I left. Later when I had time to deal with it I called their 800 number and explained that their must have been a mistake because they were charging me for services well after I had canceled my policy. I was out of contract for many months before this event. The general idea of their response was tough luck. I didn't take their punishment for leaving concept well and called the guy out for lying to me directly on the phone. I went step by step with him through my bill till he realized that they had indeed charged me an additional month and not a prorated amount for the 10 days I had used. He still said tough luck nothing we can do about it. After half an hour or so they finally said that if I went into the store again when the manager was around they MIGHT possibly be able to fix it but otherwise they couldn't do anything. I plan to do this in a few days when I get some free time and hopefully they will fix it. This shouldn't even be my problem.
Moral of the story: If you have T-mobile be prepared to get royally screwed if you ever leave them.
If your considering T-Mobile keep in mind that they don't have a problem lying or stealing. This company is incredibly dishonest and unethical and I highly recommend NOT doing business with them.
If you don't think big companies like T-mobile should get away with screwing people over like this recommend this blog post. If it gets featured perhaps a message will be sent to big companies like T-mobile that they can't afford to lie and steal from people if they hope to do well. Perhaps they will see that just because someone can't afford an lawyer doesn't mean they are without a voice.

| 1990 Haiti — Competing against 10 comparatively wealthy candidates, leftist priest Jean-Bertrand Aristide captures 68 percent of the vote. After only eight months in power, however, the CIA-backed military deposes him. More military dictators brutalize the country, as thousands of Haitian refugees escape the turmoil in barely seaworthy boats. As popular opinion calls for Aristide’s return, the CIA begins a disinformation campaign painting the courageous priest as mentally unstable. 1993 Haiti — The chaos in Haiti grows so bad that President Clinton has no choice but to remove the Haitian military dictator, Raoul Cedras, on threat of U.S. invasion. The U.S. occupiers do not arrest Haiti’s military leaders for crimes against humanity, but instead ensure their safety and rich retirements. Aristide is returned to power only after being forced to accept an agenda favorable to the country’s ruling class.
1986
Haiti — Rising popular revolt in Haiti means that “Baby Doc” Duvalier will remain “President for Life” only if he has a short one. The U.S., which hates instability in a puppet country, flies the despotic Duvalier to the South of France for a comfortable retirement. The CIA then rigs the upcoming elections in favor of another right-wing military strongman. However, violence keeps the country in political turmoil for another four years. The CIA tries to strengthen the military by creating the National Intelligence Service (SIN), which suppresses popular revolt through torture and assassination.
